Dale was born in Alanreed, TX and later moved to Washington state and retired from Puget Power in 1990. He moved to Yuma in 1999 to pursue his love of golf and became an active member of the Moose Lodge 1627. He is survived by Diana Bird, his life partner of 28 years, brother Joe Gibson sons Robin (Jeanenne) Gibson, Roger (Cindy) Gibson, Rodney (Lisa) Gibson, daughters Vicki Gibson, Loretta (Pete) Kingsolver, Beth (Ski) Damery; Diana's daughters, Donna (Larry) Villa and Lori (Will) Miller, as well as 19 grand children and 20 great grand children. Dale will always be remembered as a loving and caring man who cherished his family and friends. He never met a stranger and greeted all with his beautiful smile. A service of Tribute is planned for February 14, 2016 at the Moose Lodge in Yuma, AZ.
