Alma Lucile Babb went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2016. She was born in Jacksonville, Texas on December 16, 1929. When she was seven years old, Lucile and her family moved to Bard, California. Lucile attended Yuma High School. She worked many years at the Coke Cola plant in downtown Yuma as a bottle inspector. Later, Lucile worked in the food industry at Yuma District #1, Immaculate Conception school, and as a caterer at Arizona Western College. She loved interacting and "mothering" the students at AWC. Among her hobbies were arranging flowers and decorating her home in her favorite color, purple.

Lucile was preceded in death by her parents Brownlow and Florence Dorries, her two sisters, Jessie Mae Dorries and Irene Richards, and her husband William Babb, II. She is survived by her children Bill Babb (Karen), Terri Phipps (Danny), and Larry Babb, her grandchildren Jason Phipps (Coreen), Rebekah Babb, William Babb (Jamie), and Stephen Babb, her great-grandchildren Lauren Phipps, Jake Phipps, and Liam Babb, and her little dog Pumpkin.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 18th at 10:00 AM at Connecting Point Nazarene Church. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made to the Yuma Humane Society.
