Arthur "Skip" Wales passed away of natural causes at his home in Yuma AZ on June 14, 2023. Skip was 86 years old.

Skip weighed only 5 lbs when he was born in 1937 in Los Angeles, CA. He attended Brown Military Academy. He owned and managed funeral homes as a funeral director. Skip had a successful dry cleaning business in northern CA and drove school busses in his semi retirement. He enjoyed golf and other sports, playing music with his wife Judy and volunteered taking meetings for substance abuse into prisons. At the time of his passing Skip had enjoyed 51 continuous years of sobriety.

Skip is survived by his wife Judy, 6 Children, (Art, Wayne, Liz, Bob, Chuck and John) and 3 dogs. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Fairylee.

In addition to his love of golf, Skip was a passionate and generous man who enjoyed helping others. He possessed key insights into people and intuitively knew how to best serve others. As a Shriner, he helped transport children to the hospitals for medical care. His lighthearted sense of humor was felt by all and continued into his final days.

Skip will be cremated in Yuma Az. in leiu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Shriner's Children's hospital.
