Barbara “Barb” Frost Hiller
Barbara “Barb” Frost Hiller, passed away on August 2, 2026, leaving behind a life full of love, laughter, friendship, family, adventure, and more than a few stories to tell.
Barb was born on June 24, 1940, in Yazoo County, Mississippi, to the late Floyd and Gladys Lucille Davis Frost. Although she was a Mississippi girl by birth, she raised her children in Georgia, then moved to Arizona, where she built a wonderful life with the love of her life, Dale Hiller.
Barb was a busy little bee who always had something to do and somewhere to go. There was very little she couldn't do—and you certainly better not tell her that she couldn't! She was strong-willed, independent, and never afraid to speak her mind. Barb was a little bossy in the very best way, and whether you agreed with her or not, you always knew exactly where she stood.
She loved life and especially enjoyed shopping, visiting with friends and family, and simply being around people. A true social gal, Barb was very involved in her community and treasured the friendships she made along the way. She spent many happy hours with her American Legion friends, enjoying fellowship, laughter, and good times. She was known for her warm smile, lively personality, and zest for life. She had a wonderful ability to make even ordinary days memorable.
Above all, Barb was a woman of strong faith. She loved the Lord and carried her faith with her throughout her life. She attended Faith Horizon Baptist Church in Yuma, AZ, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life. Her relationship with God was a source of strength and comfort, and her faith was reflected in the love she showed to her family, friends, and community.
She leaves behind her daughters, Sheilah Hasty Pelletier of Mesa, AZ, and Kim Hiller Scott (Austin)
of Dalton, GA; her sons, Thomas “Tommy” Hasty of Dalton, GA, and Clayton Hasty (Stephanie) of Prescott Valley, AZ, and Neal Hiller (Barbl) of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Ericah, Chase, Hannah, Christina, and Tanner; three great-granddaughters and four great-grandsons; and two great-great-granddaughters. She is also survived by her sisters, Deanie Davis of Gonzales, LA, and Rosemary Hammett of Lexington, MS, along with a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Barb was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale Hiller; her parents, Floyd and Gladys Lucille Davis Frost; her brother, Wallace Kenneth Frost; and her sisters, Frances Frost Robertson and Maria Elizabeth Frost Reece; and her grandson Dustin Hiller.
Barb leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, determination, faith, friendship, and a life lived on her own terms. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, generous spirit, strong will, love of family and friends, devotion to her faith and community, and her zest for life.
A memorial service will be held on October 21, 2026, at 12:00 at Faith Horizon Baptist Church, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 at the American Legion Post 19 on Virginia Drive, Yuma, AZ.
~In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Horizon Baptist Church, Yuma, AZ.~
