Beverly June Williams passed away on September 30, 2017. She was 80 years old and died quietly, in her sleep, from complications of Emphysema.
Formerly of San Mateo, California, and Cedaredge, Colorado, Beverly was a long-time resident of Yuma and is predeceased by her loving husband, Jerry Williams. While in Colorado, Beverly helped run the Delta County Job Services Center for many years and was responsible for putting hundreds of people to work. She was well known here in the foothills region for her work as a realtor, and in the Yuma East Country Club where she swam daily and participated in many activities. She and Jerry were blessed to have so many wonderful friends and her family wishes to thank those many loyal and dedicated friends, especially those who were by her side, all the way to the end. The family is also deeply grateful for the Hospice Compassus staff and the Copper Place staff for their loving and compassionate care.
She is especially loved and will be sorely missed by her children, Dan and Thomas Ciufo and Elizabeth (Betsy) Waters; her step-daughter Amy Gilmore; her daughters-in law and son-in-law who she adored, Jody (Ciufo) Day, Daphne Ciufo and Dan Waters; and her grandchildren, Anna Ciufo, Leah Budde, Joshua and Jessica Waters and Alex and Jenna Gilmore. She was a devoted wife, a loving mom and a loyal friend. May she rest in peace.
