Brenda Lee Noriega

March 13, 1951 – December 8, 2025

Brenda Lee Noriega, née Ridge, of Yuma, AZ passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She is now reunited with her husband, Andrew P. Noriega, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage and five additional years of unwavering devotion following his passing.

Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was steady, compassionate, and deeply loyal to her family and friends. She made time for people, listened without judgment, and offered comfort when it was needed most. Many knew Brenda as a trusted friend who was always willing to talk, no matter the hour or circumstance.

Service to veterans was an important part of Brenda's life. She stood proudly beside Andy as they volunteered their time, talent, and resources to support veterans, especially Vietnam veterans, in the Yuma community, statewide, and nationally. Brenda believed strongly in honoring those who served and ensuring they were never forgotten. She was a dedicated member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 56 and a member of the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America, Yuma Chapter 835. Her commitment reflected both her love for her husband and her respect for the sacrifices of veterans and their families.

Brenda is survived by her son Brad and four children she loved as her own, Dee, Mickie, April, and Andy II, along with eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and joy. She also leaves behind extended family members, friends, and fellow Auxiliary and AVVA members who will miss her presence and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew P. Noriega; her parents, Joe and Margie; her brother Mike; and a sister who passed in infancy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm, at the Floyd G. Jefferson American Legion, Post 56, Yuma, AZ. Details will be shared with family and friends.

Brenda lives on in our memories, our hearts, and the countless lives she touched through friendship, service, and love.
