Chong Ho
Yi
Jan 10, 1967 — Aug 28, 2022
Yuma
Chong Ho Yi, 55, of Yuma, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on August 28th. Chong was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the United States when he was 13 years old.
Chong was a loving father to his three children Stephanie (Michael) of Nashville, Tennessee, Christopher (Brianna) of Phoenix, Arizona, and Dakotta of Yuma, Arizona. Chong adored his five grandchildren, Kaelyn, Chandler, Konner, Zeni, and Christoper. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Susanne of Yuma, Arizona.
He leaves behind an amazing legacy of hard work, dedication, family values, and love of country. Chong loved his family more than anything and lived the American dream.
He strived to help others and be a part of the community. Chong never met a stranger and was annoyingly popular.
His personality was unlike anyone else's; loving, fun, sarcastic, witty, and sometimes a pain in the ass but through thick and thin his love never wavered, he never gave up.
Chong loved his Harley Davidson rides, Sam's Club shopping trips, country music and his 5 o'clock beer at Crazy Earls.
We will see Chong again and he will be waiting with a smile, and a "What's up Bitches!"
Please join us on September 1st, at Sunset Vista Funeral Home, for the visitation between 2pm-6pm.
