Cindy Lee McIver passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Yuma on Oct. 4, just days short of her 62nd birthday.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, partner, niece, and friend. Her smile was radiant and her sense of humor was legendary. She pulled no punches and we all loved her for that.

Services will be October 16 at 10 a.m. at Sunset Vista Funeral Home, 11357 East 40th Street, Yuma. No dark and solemn funeral clothes, please. Cindy loved color, so dress accordingly.

Cindy is survived by daughter Jessica Roman and her husband Eddie of Mesa; son Jackson Brown and his wife Liz of Midland, TX; eight grandchildren, Antonio J., Alexander X. and Alexis R. Roman, Alexander Westphal, and Caleb D., Aaron L., Nathaniel Y. and Yaara S. Brown; her fiancé, Gerry Lewis of Yuma; three sisters, Tracy Jacobs of Yuma, Kelly Blume and her husband Phil of Chewelah, WA and Jamie Pirtle and her husband Trevor of Spokane, WA, plus many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her parents, Ruth Reilly McIver of Spokane, WA and Ken McIver of Yuma.
