Cynthia M. Beynon was born to Edward and Margaret Harbowy of Dearborn, Michigan on February 9, 1936. She passed away on November 4, 2017 at YRMC.

After graduating from Fordson High School in 1955, she attended the University of Michigan and Michigan State University.

Cynthia loved art and owned her own art shop, selling beautiful art works. She loved painting in oils and water colors, and also made beautiful greeting cards and jewelry.

Cynthia was also an avid sailor and spent many years sailing on Lake Michigan and Huron.

She is survived by her husband, William Beynon and daughter Meg McGowan of Yuma, Arizona, and pet dog Jackie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her first husband, Hugh McGowan in 1972.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Thursday November 9, 2017.
