Obituary

Dale "Pete" Jameson, 88, left us to be with Jesus on August 7, 2013 with his loving family by his side. Pete was born on May 31, 1925 in Coleman, TX and moved with his family to Arizona at the age of 10. When Pete was 20 years old, he met his sweetheart Emma Wiley and they were married in Ajo, AZ. They were just a few days shy of their 67th wedding anniversary and together have three beautiful children; Marlin, Pam and Wiley. In 1956 Pete moved his family to Yuma, AZ where he worked at Conner Brake and Wheel before opening up the Alignment Shop in 1968. In 1975, Pete and Emma settled in Wellton where Pete and his son, Wiley, opened Pete's Body Shop in 1980. Pete's Body Shop is still a family ran business by Wiley Jameson. Pete was a family man who would help anyone in need and never had an unkind word for anyone. He loved his wife, kids, grandkids and great grandkids...but most of all he loved the LORD. Pete was an avid hunter and enjoyed visiting his cabins in Heber and Winslow, AZ with his sons and his hunting buddies. He also loved watching sports with Emma and attending his kids and grandkids sporting events. Pete is also known for taking lots of pictures and spending time on his computer. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin and Lottie Jameson, sisters Bobbie and Charlotte, and brother Rusty Jameson, and grandson Alan Jameson. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Emma and his children Marlin (Darlene) Jameson, Pam Daily and Wiley (Lisa) Jameson; sisters Jean Johnson, Jody Upshaw, and Tye Henderson; Grandkids Sabrina (Bill) Jarkowski, Nina Daily, Jillian Jameson, Matthew (Alicia) Jameson, Morgan Jameson, Randi (Jeremy) Burnett, Tyrel Kelland, Chase Jameson, Chad Jameson, Brady Jameson and Zoey Jameson; Great Grandchildren Ryan, Reis, Kaelyn, Everly, Kali, Kadence, Keeley, Jaeson and Rhiannon. Graveside Services will be held at the Wellton Cemetery on Tuesday, August 13 at 10am. The family requests donations be made to Hospice of Yuma in lieu of flowers.
