In Loving Memory
Celebrating the Life of a Beloved Husband, Father, Abuelo, and Bizabuelo
It is with deep sorrow and abundant love that we announce the passing of
our cherished patriarch, Daniel Rodriguez Montelongo, who was called
home to eternal rest on Sep 6, 2026 6:45 AM at the age of 86. He passed
away peacefully surrounded by the warmth, prayers, and enduring love of
his family.
Born on November 6, 1939 in La Sauceda Jalisco, he lived a rich and
purposeful life grounded in faith, hard work, humility, and an unshakeable
devotion to his loved ones. Throughout his 86 years, he served as a steady
pillar of strength, wisdom, and guidance for his entire family.
He was the devoted husband of Hermelinda , with whom he shared a
lifetime of profound affection, partnership, and cherished memories.
Together, they built a warm and welcoming home where the door was
always open, the table was always full, and music, laughter, and tradition
filled every corner.
As a father (papá), grandfather (abuelo), and great-grandfather
(bizabuelo), his family was his greatest joy and proudest achievement. He
instilled in his children the values of integrity, generosity, and strong
family unity. Nothing brought a brighter smile to his face than gathering
everyone together, sharing stories, giving gentle advice, and watching his
family flourish across generations.
He is survived by his beloved wife; his 7 children and their spouses; his
20 cherished grandchildren; and his 9 adoring great-grandchildren, all of
whom carry forward his legacy of love, faith, and unity. He is also
remembered fondly by his extended family, godchildren, and many
lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and loving family members who
greeted him with open arms in heaven.
