Earl, Dannie Lee Dannie Lee Earl, age 78 passed away on December 8, 2016 at the Highland Manor in Fallon, Nevada. He was born in Central City, Nebraska on October 14, 1938. He served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years before retiring. He was awarded the Naval Unit Commendation Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal/Vietnam in April 1975. He was a previously employed with the Bureau of Land Management and the Western Nevada Community College as a Registrar. He was a previous resident of Yuma before moving to Fallon Nevada. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, walking, and bicycling. He also enjoyed reading books about the military and politics. He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Mary B. Earl and his dear wife Nancy L. Earl in 2002. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at 11 a.m. on Friday December 16, Services will be at 11:30 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home 11357 E. 40th Street and burial will follow at Sunset Vista Cemetery.
