David (Dave) Bangert (Age72) was born September 21, 1945 in Albert Lee, Minnesota to Ernest and Violet Bangert. He died May 7, 2018 in Yuma, Arizona. Dave graduated from Albert Lee High School in 1963. After graduation from high school he enrolled at the Austin Community College and quit upon his father's death.

He had several jobs in Albert Lee before joining the U.S. Army where he served for 2 years.

After his discharge from the U.S. Army he moved to the Seattle area where he was employed by Western Airlines, which was later sold to Delta Airlines. Dave retired from Delta Airlines after 32 years. He loved to travel and had a great opportunity to see the world due to being employed by Delta Airlines. He married Penny Fink in 2004 and they settled in Yuma, Arizona where they enjoyed the year round sunshine and having a golf course in his backyard.

He is survived by his wife Penny and 2 sons; David Lee and Casey Richard Bangert.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Dale and Duane.

Memorial Service will be at Westwind RV and Golf Resort Saturday, May 19, 2018 with Pastor Jay Vance officiating at 1:00 pm with military honors by the American Legion.

Reception will follow the service at Westwind RV and Golf Resort.
