Diane Elizabeth Bartley, 70, died unexpectedly on June 30, 2026, of natural causes at her home in Yuma Arizona. She was born on November 7, 1955, in Richmond Virginia, the second child and daughter of John Evan Bartley and Ida Lou (Creed) O'Neal.

Diane graduated from Helix High School in San Diego in 1974. Later in life she earned a bachelor's degree in nursing and worked as a registered nurse in various care facilities during her working career. At age 50 she went to live in Yuma Arizona with her mother.

She was predeceased by her father John Bartley, her stepfather Alvin O'Neal, her brother David Andy Bartley, her sister Amy Marie Oneal and her stepsister Marianne Sieler.

She is survived by her mother Ida Lou O'Neal and her brother Michael Alan Bartley as well as her niece Heather Shadwell and nephews Kyle Bartley, Evan Bartley and Alec Bartley.

Diane had a very spiritual, insightful and generous soul. She always loved the sea, and her wishes will be honored to have her ashes returned to the Pacific Ocean.
