Donald Noel Thompson

Donald Thompson passed away peacefully at home on November 30th, 2024.  Donald was born in Dixon Illinois to Helen and Floyd Thompson.

He proudly served in the Navy during the Korean War while onboard the USS Antietam.  Following the Navy, Donald went on to become a glazier and business owner in southern California, a private pilot, and later a real estate broker in Arizona.

He is survived by his children: two sons and daughters in law; Scott and Kathy Thompson, Robert and Linda Thompson, daughter; Beverly Ed, daughter and son in law; Marilyn and Shannon Wilkins, and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and his beloved and faithful dog, Ginger.

To honor Donald's wishes, there will be no memorial service, instead the family asks those who knew and loved him to honor his memory in their own way. Don will be missed by all who knew him.
