On the day that Eddie Truax was to be born the Lord looked down at all of his people and said: "Things have gotten to be very boring down there, Boy! Have I got a surprise for them!"

Eddie was born on March 8,1950 to Edward C. Truax and Rose M. (Kern) Truax. Ed went to elementary school at St. Paul's, Middle School and High School in Mosinee WI. He attended North Central Technical College in Wausau, WI where he studied Marketing.

He Married Joan Augustine. They had 1 Son, Jason. Over the years Ed worked for the Pizza Huts Franchise. He also worked for several different Restaurants over the years including the Left Guards owned by some of the Green Bay Packers, then Martine's on College Ave. in Appleton, WI. After that he had Reflections on College Avenue in Appleton. He started

working at the Sky Club East in Neenah WI in 1988 as a General Manager and built the business into a successful Supper Club. Ed and Katie met in 1991 and enjoyed many years together working hard in the restaurant and the Wisconsin Restaurant Association.          They married in 1999 and bought the business/property and spent many years there until it was sold in 2008. Ed retired and he and Katie moved to Yuma AZ and enjoyed a wonderful life with many friends and Family until Ed's passing on March 26, 2025. Ed brought his warmth and love to all that he met and will be missed. Edward left behind 2 Sisters Dianna Truax Hoier (Dennis) and Debra Truax Ulrich (Keith/Fuzzy).

From our beautiful, blended family Edward leaves behind 3 Sons Jason E. Truax (Becky), Ryan M. Thuecks (Therese), and Chadd L. Otto (Charity); We were blessed with 9 Grandchildren   6 Great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way and many Nieces, Nephews and cherished friends.

Edward was preceded in Death by both his and Katie's parents.
