Elmer Brill was born in Port Huron, MI to Elmer Brill Sr. and Stella Fye. He enlisted in the Army as World War II was drawing to a close, and served with the 82nd Airborne Division as a Military Police Officer, Private 1st Class. Elmer married Ana Mendoza, the love of his life on April 7, 1970 in Tampa, FL. They moved to Gordon''s Well, CA in 1975, then to Yuma in 1996. He is survived by his wife, Ana; sons, Eugene, Randy, Jay R and Jay B; daughter Robin; 12 grand children and multiple great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Brad; granddaughter Erica and sister Macy. Elmer was very passionate about his country and took pride in serving this great nation. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He took great pride in teaching them about motorcycles and how to shoot. Services will be held Wednesday, February 24th at Sunset Vista Funeral Home, 11357 E. 40th Street. Viewing will be held from 12pm-1pm and services will be from 1pm-2:30pm.
