Everett DeMars was born in Trommald, MN by Cora and Joseph DeMars. He was a Marine in Iwo Jima in World War II, earning a Purple Heart. He married Bernice Saunders on New Year''s Day. They were married 39 years and had two children, Elaine and Charlene. He was an auto body man until he retired. He then moved to Yuma, AZ. He enjoyed hiking, golfing, cards and a good time with friends and family. He is survived by his two daughters, Charlene Kelty, her husband Delvin Kelty and Elaine Andersen. Also his brother Joe DeMars and his wife Marion. He was a Grandfather to Patrick Andersen, Michelle Leaf and Jenny Sugarbaker and a Great Grandfather and Uncle. He left many family and friends behind. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children''s Hospital. A mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 18 at 11:00am. will be said for him.
