James A. Myers

James A Myers, 63, of Yuma, Arizona passed away on December 27, 2021 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 21, 1958 and had one brother, William and a sister, Kathy.

James Chip was a loving husband to his wife Diane Millmaker Myers. He was a devoted father to his sons, Harry (Amber) Myers, Robert (Sarah) Myers and James Jimmy Myers; stepson Christopher Millmaker (Madeline) and 9 grandchildren.
Chip lived in Philadelphia until he was 12 at which time he moved to Deptford, New Jersey where he lived until he joined the United States Marine Corps. Chip served in the Corps for 26 years until he was honorably discharged at as a MGySgt. Chip and Diane were married on February 16, 2008 and spent 14 wonderful years together. He was a member of Immanual Southern Baptist Church. Chip was an avid wood worker and a handy man known as the Wood Butcher.
Chip was preceded in death by his parents James and Lois Myers and his son Peter Myers.
Services will be at Immanuel Southern Baptist Church, 1000 E. 24th St., Yuma, AZ on Saturday, January 8th 2022 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers; donations can be made to the ALS Association.
