Janet Ellen Newman  3/11/1940 -  9/29/2022.

With sadness and love, the Newman family announces the passing of Janet Newman on September 29 ^th , 2022. Janet died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Yuma, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Sarah Russnogle, and her brothers;  Roy, Dwight, Robert, and Phillip Russnogle.

She is survived by her husband John Newman of Yuma, AZ, and her four sons; John Newman of Corvallis, OR; Richard Newman of Albany, OR; Daniel Newman of Yucca, AZ; Peter Newman of Monroe, OR; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Janet enjoyed sewing and was an avid quilter.  She also enjoyed cooking, traveling, off-roading, word games, puzzles, and her boys.  She loved dogs and for many years she bred, raised, and showed champion miniature dachshunds.

The family would like to thank Janet's friends and neighbors for all of their support to John and her.
