Obituary

Karen Regina Wuesthofen Williams was born in Stettin, Germany on August 22,1940 to the late Rudolf Wuesthofen of Berlin, Germany, and Gertrude Wuesthofen of Nazareth, Pennsylvania.   In 1942 Karen and her mother fled to Western Germany ahead of the Russian army that was invading Germany from the east at that time.  In 1956, Karen with her mother, immigrated to the United States and lived in the New York City area.

Karen met George Williams at a Bible study at the home of Viola Whipple in Belvedere, NJ in November of 1960.  They were married November 22,1961 in Easton, PA.  To this union were born two children, Regina Smith of Pulaski, TN, and Erik Williams of Tucson, AZ.

Karen was a mother, homemaker and was also employed by Ingersoll-Rand Co.  Karen attended Northampton Community College where she received a real estate certificate.  Karen held a real estate brokers license in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey for several years before retiring from real estate in 2003.

Karen and George recently moved to River Valley Estates in Yuma, AZ where they have enjoyed the last three months together.

Karen professed to serve God in her youth.  She loved Sunday morning meetings, and our church conventions.  Her favorite hymn was "Tell Me the Story of Jesus."  She often sang this hymn by memory, and from her heart.  Karen finished her life faithfully December 27, 2025.
