Karoly Szilagyi (Chuck) was a beloved father, husband, Papa, and father-in-law. It is with heavy hearts that we announce his unexpected passing on May 19th at the age of 69, just one month shy of his 70th birthday.

Karoly (Chuck) was born in Budapest, Hungary where in 1980 he married his beautiful bride Agnes Szilagyi, and in 1981 they had their only daughter Klaudia. May 24th would have been their 44th wedding anniversary.

Together they moved to the US in 1988 and created an extraordinary life together, with endless memories. Karoly (Chuck) was kind hearted and caring, always helping others, and very charismatic. He loved to laugh, entertain, music (boy did he love music), and his family and friends. He had a passion for cars, antiques, and collecting trinkets and cigar boxes.

Karoly (Chuck) is survived by his wife Agnes Szilagyi, daughter Klaudia Szilagyi Linker, grandson Logan Linker, and son-in-law Hubert Linker (Link). He will be missed by all who knew him. We will love him forever and keep him in our hearts every minute of every day. Now he may rest peacefully. Nagyon szeretunk Daddy!
