Larry L. Simon of Oakdale, CA passed away on January 15, 2024 at the age of 72 in Yuma, AZ.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Judy L. Simon, his parents Bill and Phyllis Simon, his brother-in-law, Larry Ricica, and great-nephew, Brody Miller. Larry is survived by his children Jamie Acosta, Timothy Small, Lanie Davidson, siblings William F. (Bonnie) Simon, Cynthia Ricica, Ronald (Kathleen) Simon, Shelley (John) Miller and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Larry was born to William C. "Bill" and Phyllis J. (Baker) Simon on March 6, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio. Larry graduated from Evergreen High School in Metamora, Ohio in 1969. He owned Nor Cal Design, Inc for many years then worked for the Department of Weights and Measures in Monterey County until retirement. On October 27, 1984 Larry married Judy. Together they lived in San Juan Baptista for 30 years. After retirement they moved to Arnold, CA.

Larry was a devoted husband who loved traveling, scuba diving, abalone diving, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.  He was a kind and generous man, with a great sense of humor and a friend to many. Larry will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and friend. His wisdom and warmth of his company will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Now he can rest in peace with his beloved wife Judy.
