Maria "Angelita" Sotelo

Maria "Angelita" Sotelo, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on May 7, 2026 leaving a legacy of love and family. She was was born in Ejido Tabasco, Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Antonio Villa (†) and Maria Consuelo Vargas.

Maria shared her life with her husband, Raul Sotelo. Together, they raised a family rooted in strength and devotion. She was a dedicated wife and mother.

She is survived by husband, Raul Sotelo; son, Raul Sotelo, and her daughters, Rosangel Lugo and Rosaura Tinajero; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her brothers, Antonio, Francisco, and Jose Villa, who will remember her fondly.

Maria's presence will be deeply missed by her entire family and all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved so dearly.
