Marisol Prest, 85, passed away peacefully in Yuma, AZ, on Friday, January 27, 2022.

She was born November 22, 1936, in Madrid, Spain to Celestino and Francisca de La Gama.

She was a homemaker most of her adult years. After her children were grown she worked for the Cibola High School cafeteria.

She enjoyed drawing, reading the bible, history and watching old movies. Her favorite movies were Bye Bye Birdie and It's a Mad, Mad World. She loved listening to Tom Jones and Liberace and music from the movies Dr Zhivago & West Side Story.

She is survived by her three children:  Margi (Ralph) Castaneda of Yuma, AZ, Nellie (Jeff) Hornbeck of San Diego, CA, and William Prest Jr of Phoenix, AZ, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her sister Margarita de La Gama of Madrid, Spain.

A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held Sat. March 5, 2022 at 1:00 pm at St Francis Church. Interment to follow at St Neumann Church Columbarium.
