Martha Weeks passed away on February 4, 2014, in Yuma, AZ. Born to George & Lola Hadley Roche in Oakland, CA. When Martha was a young child the family moved to Lamar, CO area then later to Monument, CO. She married Sheldon WanEtten in 1963 in Monument. The union brought a daughter in 1966 and in 1967, tjhey divorced in 1969, then married Henry Weeks. They lived in Charlotte, Huntersville & Mooresville, NC., Monument, CO., Columumbus, MS., North Platte, NE., and Yuma, AZ, Martha loved to cook but her passion was cake decorating and taking care of her family. She leaves her daughter Pam & Jerry Climer of Casper, WY., stepdaughter Penny & Leo Shiver & stepson Sam Weeks all of Greenville, MS., mother Lola of Yuma, AZ., sister Linda & Mike Arwood of Denver, IN., brothers Larry Roche of Richmond Hills, GA., Robert Roche of Yuma, AZ.,& John & Cheryl McDonald of Spokane, WA., grandchildren Mark Baumgartner and Sam Baumgartner of Stapleton, NE., Melissa & Jeff Weeks of Greenville, MS., along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Martha was preceded in death by her grandparents, husband Henry Weeks, stepfather John McDonald Sr., uncles Paul Hadley, Carl Hadley, aunts Leota Hadley Baker and Norma Jean & Cecil Sigafoose. Memorial Service will be held March 14, 2014 at Del Oro Mobile Estates Clubhouse in Yuma, AZ. from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunset Vista Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the cremation.
