Mary Louise
Woodhouse
Jan 29, 2027 — Jan 25, 2017
Louise was born on January 29, 1927 to Delbert Harvey and Velma Gertrude Wheeler in Mabank, Texas but she has lived in Yuma most of her life.
Louise was happy as a Homemaker, known as a wonderful cook who thoroughly enjoyed cooking and sharing what she prepared with others. Family was a very big part of Louise's life, the love and devotion she gave to her children and grandchildren were unconditional. Being active in their lives was her pride and joy. She was always concerned more about others and how they felt more so than her own pain and discomfort. She would often ask, even in the final days of her life, if there were anything she could do for you and always asking if you were OK? She was a member of Immanuel Southern Baptist and found great joy in being a door greeter, always handing out bulletins each Sunday morning.
Louise is survived by her sons; James (Theresa) Norton of Tucson, AZ and Tommy Thompson of Yuma. She also had numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Preceding Louise in death by her husband; John Woodhouse.
Visitation will be at Sunset Vista Funeral Home, February 3, 2017 at 10:00 am followed by Services at 11:00 am and her final resting place will be Sunset Vista Cemetery. Pastor David Lindgens of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church will officiate.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Yuma.
