Orville Paul Knudtson of Yuma died on Saturday, June 14, 2014. He was born January 25, 1921 in Milford, Iowa to Knudt S. Knudtson and Mary Knudtson. He married Virginia Sample in 1944. They farmed near Terril, Iowa and later near Spring Valley, Minnesota. In 1963 he moved his family to Arizona where they lived in Prescott and raised and trained Arabian horses until they relocated to Yuma in 2008. He is survived by his sons Jon (Leone Neegan) of Yuma and Kris (Chrissie) of Benson, his brother Freeman of Spencer, Iowa and his sister Marie Welle (Bud) of Milford, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother Rose Jones Knudtson, his sisters Greta Dannatt and Rose Anderson, his brother Kenneth and his beloved wife, Virginia. The family suggests donations to Gloria de Cristo Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice. Memorial Services will be held at 10am. Tuesday July 1, 2014 at Gloria de Cristo Lutheran Church 11273 E. 40th St.
