Rebecca Ann "Becky" Dirksen, 69, of Yuma, AZ passed away at home on Sunday, June 4, 2023 with her loving husband by her side. Per her wishes, she will be cremated. There will be no services at this time.

Becky was born on August 4, 1953 in Davenport, IA. She married James "Jim" Dirksen in a ceremony on Princeton Beach, Princeton, IA on July 5, 1986 and together they enjoyed a beautiful life. Their wedding marked the first on Princeton Beach and made the local papers.  Becky worked as an office manager for Bridges Catering for 23 years.

During their years living on the Mississippi River in LeClaire, Iowa, Becky was an avid gardener, caring for her potted flowers and loved the many hummingbirds that would visit her back deck each year. Becky was also known for her lavish Christmas displays.  Becky and Jim moved to Yuma, AZ in 2019 and truly enjoyed the many friendships they built within their community.  On hot days in Yuma, Becky made the best of it by taking a day trip to the casino with her best friend Sandy to spin the wheel on her favorite slot machine. One of her many hobbies in Yuma included the creation of a fairy garden that she was very proud of.

Survivors include her loving husband Jim, their children, many grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
