Richard H. Butler

August 15, 1945 – March 27, 2022

Rick as everyone called him was born in Sister Bay, Wisconsin to George and Helen (Hockmeister) Butler. While in his youth he attended many schools as his father was transferred around the country, he always summered at his grandparent's home in Ephraim, Wisconsin. Rick got his degree in Business Administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Everyone who knew Rick will remember his deep voice and booming laugh. He loved people and had an infectious smile. For most of his life he owned his own business. Many will know him as the "Rick the blind man" – the man behind BlindSmart.

Rick was a 32˚ Mason, Shriner, and PER Elk in both Wisconsin and Yuma. He also was a patron of the Eastern Star and for many years a Rotarian.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn, older brother David, children Barbara, Richard, and Michael, 3 grandchildren and his first wife Catherine.
