Roy Simon Ramirez Sr. 78, of Yuma, AZ passed away Jan 7th, 2022. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Godfather, Tata and Pop. No words can describe how truly missed he will be by friends and family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Lucy and children: Roy S Ramirez Jr, Ferman Ramirez, Roxanna Ramirez, and Tiffany Ramirez. His siblings: Erlinda Ostos, Joe Ramirez, Estella Ostos, Danny Ramirez and Annette Valles. His grandchildren: Jason and Dominique Ramirez, Rebecca Ramirez, Christina Castaneda, Stephanie Villa, Andrew Martinez, Richard and Apryl Torres, Andrew L. Ramirez, Vivian Fightmaster, Draven Ramirez, Alexander Ramirez, Arissa and Athena Martinez. His great-grandchildren: Alexsis Perez, Giovanni Ramirez, Gia and Simon Ramirez, Lily'Rose and Kaily Ramirez, Aleena, Zyla, Eric, and Benjamin Castaneda, Kyla Villa, Kahlan and Raynah Fightmaster.

Roy is preceded in death by his son Christopher Ramirez, grandson Roy S Ramirez III, his parents Herman and Isabel Ramirez, his siblings: Minnie Rivera, Kathy Marquez, Marylou Arzabal, Trinie Chavez, Nancy Onopa, Oscar Cabrera, Mary Fresquez, and Eleanor Lievanos.

Roy was a hardworking man his entire life up until his retirement a year ago. His jobs included EMT, Safety Officer, Security Guard. He will be remembered by his loving and giving heart. You could always count on him to be there when you needed him. He touched so many people with his kind simple gestures. He loved his San Francisco 49ers, his Oldies music and anything boxing.
