Ruben T. Geronimo

Ruben left us peacefully surrounded by family on December 29, 2020, he was 74 years old. He was born in Tancitaro, Michoacan, Mexico on April 1, 1946.

Ruben met his wife Mila in 1968 and they were married on December 11, 1971 in San Luis Rio Colorado Sonora, Mexico. Together they lived in San Jose, California, Wellton, Phoenix Valley before retiring in Yuma in 2018.

Ruben retired as a Maintenance Tech but he loved to spend his time on his favorite hobbies such as landscaping, collecting of antiques, handyman projects, and hunting. But more than anything, Ruben's passion was to sing. He sang every day and recently began uploading his songs to his YouTube channel. Ruben had a huge heart and was always willing to help others. He was a hardworking and fun-loving man. He was a great role model to his children and always put family first. Ruben was loved by many especially his family/friends and he will be greatly missed.

Ruben is survived by his 4 children: Ruben Geronimo, Monica Bustillos (Louis), Susan Baca (Russell), and Sandy Deardeuff, as well as 7 grandchildren he adored; Niko, Junior, Michael, Jazmine, Cierra, Nevaeh, and Natalie.

He was preceded in death by his wife Hermila (Mila) Geronimo on November 21, 2018, Felicitas Torres (Mother) and Carmen Geronimo (Father).

Per Rubens request there will be no funeral but there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
