Verna M. Kreutzberg (Huss) was 73 years old when she passed in Yuma Arizona. Verna was born in Freedom Wisconsin and was a farm girl that worked on the family farm with her two sisters and two brothers. Verna met Allen F. Kreutzberg in high school and later married in Phoenix Arizona. In 1965, she moved to Kirkland Washington to raise her family. Verna had one son, WIlliam J. Kreutzberg (Duvall), and one daughter, Julie A. Kreutzberg (Seattle). Verna enjoyed the simple things and enjoyed her children. She enjoyed gardening and eating the fruits of her labor and shared this with her family. Bill remembers her laying out patterns on the dining room table in which she would make dresses for her daughter and herself. Julie told Bill she remembers one of her fondest memories was her Mom checking her out of school on Fridays to shop and have "Mother Daughter" time. Bill also remembers a time when the three of them would go on bike rides through the neighborhood, shucking corn in the back yard or making cookies. It is so hard to put in just a few words on paper of how to remember Verna. I can only think of four words....MOM, I love you.
